Classic embossed roses in cream and gold

This card and co-ordinating envelope are quick and easy to make.   The embossing folder consists of four folders. The embossed corner was fully cut and adhered with 3D foam tape. Monochromatic elegance

Monochromatic elegance

Sometimes a monochromatic colour scheme is just what is needed for an elegant occasion or a beautiful lady. The card was made using layers of Curious metal lustre cardstock and Lady Pattern Paper Damask So Buff. The main focus is the die-cut centre piece. The flowers are handmade, cut from peach metallic shimmer cardstock, inked on the edges with grapefruit ink. The frame was cut using two sizes Tattered Lace decorative edge dies. The...

Red for love

SD cardstock in crimson is THE perfect red for Valentine's cards. I love using a bit of SD Rouge to break monotony. The white and black help your designs 'pop'. And this year I found Lady Pattern paper in red to offer an interesting background. Pure simplicity in the first card. The card base in white is matted with black SD black and then with SD crimson. The lattice heart was made using an electronic cutting file from Birds Cards on my KNK Zing. The label in SD rouge stands out against the crimson background. The sentiment is part of...
