Lavender, lilac and lace
Posted by Marie Smith on
The sweet peony stamp and die sets from Heartfelt Creations are so pretty and versatile in any colour.
For this card, I stamped the peonies in deep purple archival ink, then dabbed on colour on the edges of the petals first with the deep purple and then with Versamagic in pretty petunia. After die-cutting with the matching dies, I shaped the flowers with ball tools.
The background was cut from a page in the Heartfelt Creations lush lilac paper collection. I love the dimension and interest that the printed paper and lacy edge die add. The white lacy layer was cut from heavy shimmer cardstock, using another die from the intricate swirls frames die set.
